Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Xeratec (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in the Superior Polymer Crewmobile app for iOS and Android (the “App”).
The App is a private tool for Superior Polymer’s coatings field crews to manage their scheduled trips, complete process touch-points, record material usage and drum lot numbers, log crew hours, and capture job-site photos. It is intended for authorized Superior Polymer staff, not the general public.
What the App Collects
Crew members sign in with an individual account. The information the App sends to our servers is:
- Account and sign-in information — your email address and password, used to authenticate you and keep your work associated with your account.
- Field activity you enter — the trips you work, touch-point completions, notes, material usage and quantities, drum lot numbers, crew hours, and the time of each entry.
- Job-site photos — photos you capture as evidence on a touch-point are uploaded and stored with the related job record.
Camera
The App uses the device camera to take job-site photos and to scan the lot numbers printed on material drums. Photos you take as touch-point evidence are uploaded to our servers; barcode scans are used only to fill in the lot number on the entry.
What the App Does Not Collect
- No location data.
- No contacts, and the App does not record audio.
- No advertising identifiers, analytics, or usage tracking.
- No payment or financial information.
Information Stored on the Device
To work without a constant connection, the App stores your trips, the material catalog, and any pending entries and photos in a local database and file storage on the device, and keeps your sign-in tokens in the device’s secure storage (Keychain on iOS, Keystore on Android). This data stays on the device and syncs with our servers when a connection is available.
How We Use Information
- To sign you in and keep your account secure.
- To record trips, touch-point completions, material usage, drum lot numbers, crew hours, and photos against the correct job.
- To keep operational and inventory records accurate.
How Information Is Shared
The information you enter is stored in Superior Polymer’s business systems and is available to authorized Superior Polymer staff. We use a cloud hosting, database, and object-storage provider (Railway) to run our servers and store uploaded photos. We do not sell your information, use it for advertising, or share it with data brokers. We may disclose information if required by law.
Data Retention
Field activity and photos are retained as part of Superior Polymer’s business records for as long as needed to operate the business or as required by law.
Your Account
Accounts are managed by Superior Polymer. To update your account, reset your password, or request that your account and associated personal information be deactivated or deleted, contact your Superior Polymer administrator or email us at kyler.hillstrom@xeratec.com.
Security
Information is sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and your sign-in tokens are held in the device’s secure storage. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we use commercially reasonable measures to protect information.
Children’s Privacy
The App is a workplace tool intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective” date above.
